BASIC HEALTH CLASSES Ohio's child care licensing requires all early childhood professionals to take the following classes. These classes are not approved as "specialized training", because they are entry-level health classes. Certification for most classes is valid for 3 years. If you have previously taken a 6 hour class, it will expire after 3 years, and then a 3 hour review may be taken. (CPR is valid for 2 years.)
