SMS Text Message Program

Mini University sends automated SMS text messages to parents and guardians of children enrolled in our childcare programs. These messages provide weekly attendance notifications related to OHECC (Ohio Early Childhood Care) funding compliance.

How We Collect Consent

During the enrollment process at any of Mini University’s four childcare centers, parents and guardians complete an enrollment form that includes a dedicated SMS consent section. In this section, guardians provide their mobile phone number, review the terms of the SMS program, and sign to confirm they agree to receive automated attendance-related text messages from Mini University.

Consent is not required as a condition of enrollment or any other service.

Program Details

Message types: Weekly attendance threshold alerts for OHECC compliance

Message frequency: Varies; typically no more than once per week

Opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time
