Miami University Child Development Center

Our Miami University center was founded in 2002, and is located on the university’s beautiful Western Campus. This location boasts the title of Butler County’s first ever 5-star rated Step Up to Quality center.

We believe the best learning environments are where teachers can spend more individualized time with their students, and that means lower classroom ratios. To prove it, here is a comparison between state ratios, and Mini University ratios:

Our friendly staff is excited to come to work every day because they have a passion for educating young children.  We have high standards of employment and require all lead teachers to have degrees in early childhood education. This means that not only are our teachers more qualified than at other childcare centers, they care—and that is just as important to us.

We serve families with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years at this location. We are proud to offer programs for the following age groups:
